Rootbeer Float Cookies (Jana Fuller's recipe)


1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
½ cup buttermilk
2 eggs
4 t Rootbeer Concentrate
1 t vanilla
1 t baking soda
¼ t salt

Directions:  Cream butter and sugars.  Add buttermilk, eggs, and extracts.  Add flour, baking soda and salt.  Mix on low until a soft dough forms.  Drop by tsp. on a cool baking sheet.  Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.

Frosting:

2 cups powdered sugar
2 T half and half
4 t butter
2 t Rootbeer Concentrate.

Mix and frost cookies when cool.
