Mom’s Pumpkin Dessert (Julie’s recipe)

1 box yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup) (no pudding in mix)
1 stick melted butter
1 beaten egg

Mix and press into 9 x 13 pan

Mix well:

3 eggs
2/3 c. milk
½ c. brown sugar
¼ c. sugar
1 ½ tspn. cinnamon
1 large can pumpkin

Pour over cake

Mix and sprinkle:

1 c. cake mix
¼ c. melted butter
½ c. sugar
½ c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Bake at 350 for 55 min.  (325 for glass dish)

Serve with whipped cream on top.
